Monthly Volunteer Opportunities-WaterCooler Poster
In partnership with the Stevens Point Area Public School District, the United Way Volunteer Center helps distribute information about community youth programs to student in grades K-6. Eligible non-profit organizations can submit information about upcoming events and programs that benefit youth, and approved flyers are compiled and sent home with students on a monthly basis.
Weekly Volunteer Highlight
United Way's Volunteer Center and the Stevens Point Journal have developed a weekly column to promote volunteerism in our community. You may choose to either highlight: 1) a volunteer that has been involved with your agency or 2) an upcoming event that highlights a volunteer who is currently involved in the event or has been involved in the event in the past. This is a great chance for you to show the community the good work that your organization does. To participate in this program, just complete the forms below and return them to the Volunteer Center.
